The Real Estate Bank branch in Hama announced that it obtained 230 million Syrian pounds from bad loans belonging to 37 borrowers, as part of the keenness to guarantee the bank’s rights and preserve the public money.

Edmond Hanna, director of the bank’s branch, said in a statement to SANA’s correspondent today that the bank has set among its priorities the file of debt collection by following up on borrowers and taking all administrative and judicial measures aimed at protecting their rights and collecting public funds.

He indicated that the defaulters have been contacted to complete settlements about their loans, which will contribute to collecting loans and facilitate payment procedures for borrowers and enable them to fulfill their financial obligations.

Hanna indicated that within the framework of cooperation between the Real Estate Bank and the Post Corporation, and in order to facilitate the payment of salaries for retirees in the regions, 8 points of sale were installed and technically and technically operated by the bank in the centers of the Postal Corporation spread in Hama, Mahrada, Salhab, Masyaf, Salmiya, Wadi El-Ayoun, Ouj and Sabboura.

He pointed out that the role of these points in facilitating the citizens and easing the burdens on the owners of localized pensioners whose salaries are located, especially those living in rural areas and areas far from city centers.
