The seizure of more than 140 kilograms of drugs in Homs and Nabek

The Drug Enforcement Administration seized more than 140 kilograms of hashish and the narcotic Captagon pill, and arrested its promoters in Homs and Nabek.

In a statement, SANA received a copy, the Ministry of Interior stated that as a result of the efforts made by the Drug Enforcement Administration to arrest drug traffickers and drug traffickers in all governorates, and through close monitoring and follow-up, the Drug Enforcement Administration was able to seize more than 140 kilograms of narcotic substances.

The ministry added that the seized drugs were 40 kilograms of narcotic hashish, which were seized in the city of Homs, and two promoters and 100 kilograms of Captagon narcotic pills were arrested in the Nabek area in Damascus countryside, on board a private Hyundai Tucson car in which two people were arrested and the car was searched. In it, six bags weighing about 100 kilograms were found, or about 750,000 narcotic pills, Captagon.

The ministry indicated that the aforementioned car was seized and narcotic substances were confiscated, and investigations are still ongoing with the arrested to uncover all those involved in the case to take the necessary measures against them.
