An indictment was filed today (Thursday) against an inmate at Ayalon Prison in Ramla after threatening a prison guard because he was not satisfied with a medical examination he underwent.

According to the indictment filed against the prisoner, 42, from Rishon Lezion, he underwent a medical examination outside the prison yesterday, accompanied by a prison guard. The prisoner was not satisfied with the medical treatment he received, turned to the prisoner and told her that "until I kill some officers and medical personnel, you will not start treating the prisoners here. You should be returned to the period of the murder of Nitzan Prison Director." In doing so, the prisoner referred to the murder of Deputy Gondar Roni Nitzan, who in 1981 was murdered while on duty by an inmate who escaped from Ayalon Prison.

Yesterday the accused was arrested for questioning by the police. As stated, an indictment was filed against him today for threatening a prisoner and a request was submitted to the court to extend his detention until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
