A police intervention that turned into a tragedy. At around 2 a.m. on Friday, August 28, police officers from the Anti-Crime Brigade (BAC) arrested two minors trying to buy alcohol with counterfeit banknotes, in a business in Vandeuvre- lès-Nancy, in the metropolis of Grand Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle).

During the arrest, two accomplices who remained in the car set off with a bang and hit a police officer, who would then have hung on the door of the vehicle, relate our colleagues from Europe 1.
The policeman was reportedly dragged several hundred meters before the driver lost control of his car. The grievor reportedly suffered only a few minor injuries to his pelvis. The four suspects were taken into custody.
