A 25-year-old man was killed this evening (Friday) in a motorcycle overturning that occurred near the entrance to the village of Uriah in the Jerusalem mountains. MDA medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene tried to provide him with medical treatment, but were forced to determine his death at the scene.
A paramedic on an MDA motorcycle, Ben Peled, said: "The motorcyclist was lying on the side of the road across the separation fence, unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, with a very severe multi-system injury. We performed medical tests but he was without signs of life and we have no choice but to determine his death. "
Earlier, a 44-year-old man was moderately injured and a 74-year-old woman was lightly injured in a paragliding crash in the Kfar Bialik airfield.
A senior paramedic riding an MDA motorcycle, Itai Mazor, said: We provided them with medical treatment that included bandages and fixations and evacuated them in a stable condition for further treatment at the hospital. "
In another incident today, a foreign national in his 20s was seriously injured while riding an electric bicycle, from a vehicle on Hagana Street in Tel Aviv. The offending vehicle fled the scene, and police began searching for the offender.
