The General Fodder Corporation branch in Sweida began providing more than a thousand tons of bran at lower prices than the market in order to secure the needs of sheep, goats and camels within a new fodder cycle that will continue until the 29th of next October.
The director of the foundation's branch, Engineer Wael Al-Shoufi, stated in a statement to SANA that the bran material is available in the distribution centers of Naba 'Ara, al-Mishnaf and Shahba, in good quantities and is distributed to livestock breeders at a rate of 3 kilograms per head of sheep and goats and 10 kilograms at a reduced price of 133.5 pounds per kilo.
Al-Shoufi pointed out that the foundation branch continues to provide and sell yellow corn for poultry in the two centers of Naba 'Ara and Shahba, at a rate of 100 grams per bird and a price of 400 pounds per kilogram.
During the first half of the current year, the General Fodder Corporation branch in Sweida sold about 6273 tons of fodder materials.
