Yesterday, deaths from the new Corona virus in Brazil crossed the 120,000 mark, six months after it recorded its first infection with the virus.
According to the Brazilian Ministry of Health, the total number of deaths in the country reached 120,262, after counting 758 new deaths in the previous 24 hours, and 41,350 new cases of the virus were recorded, bringing the total to 3846153.
Brazil, with a population of 212 million, is the second most affected country in the world by the epidemic after the United States.
In Britain, the health authorities recorded 1,108 infections and 12 deaths from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 332752 and deaths to 41,498 cases.
In Egypt, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 212 injuries and 14 deaths were recorded yesterday, while 883 people recovered from the disease, bringing the total to 98,497 cases, including 71,302 cases that were cured and 5,376 deaths.
