At about 4 pm today (1st), a fatal traffic accident occurred near Wai Fung Garden, 11 Repulse Bay Road, Hong Kong Island. A motorcycle first collided with a private car and then with a light goods vehicle at the site. .
The 33-year-old motorcyclist surnamed Lin suffered a severe injury and was rushed to Ruttonjee Hospital where he was certified dead.
The 40-year-old Korean female driver of the private car and the 61-year-old male driver of the light truck surnamed Liang were not injured.
According to the pictures on the Internet, after the accident, the motorcycle was between the two lanes.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
This is the second fatal traffic accident involving a motorcycle in less than 24 hours.
