The book “The Extract from the Flowers of the Party” by the Andalusian writer Ibn Said al-Maghribi is classified among one of the books of mosques in literature, including the anthology of governance, anecdotes, the party, tales, masterpieces of poetry, delays and muwashahat, and a comparison between the innovations of the East and Moroccans, which prompted Dr. Mahmoud Al-Hassan to prepare a book on him that included selections from the original book .

The booklet, which was recently issued by the Syrian General Authority for the book within the series of fruits of minds, mentioned in its introduction, Dr. Al-Hassan, that it contains selections collected by Ibn Saeed from books he read and from the lips of writers he met on his many travels, indicating that the reader finds in it what he likes and enjoys of funny situations and stories .

Al-Hassan also informs us of the most beautiful wisdom contained in the book, the spectrum of meanings, the wonders of situations, the juice of experiences, and the gentle emotions, indicating that the book was classified by the ancients within the so-called literature of darkness, especially since Ibn Saeed gathered many literary lessons during his travels.

Al-Hassan pointed out that reading such anthology helps a person acquire language, refine the tongue, provide the mind with logic, experiments, trial principles, develop aesthetic sense, evaluate individual and group behavior, in addition to possessing a cultural repertoire for literature councils. The teacher also benefits from it in sweetening his lessons and lectures with an interesting material that attracts students ’attention and drives boredom. About them.

It is noteworthy that the author, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Hassan, was born in 1974 and holds a doctorate in Arabic language sciences. He works as a researcher at the Arabic Language Academy in Damascus and has many books, including issues of necessity and transgression in grammar, morphology, connotation, Hariri and others.

As for Ibn Sa`id al-Maghribi, he is a grammarian, historian, and traveler of poets and informants. He was born in Granada in 1214, where he grew up, studied and mastered, and after he received language and literature lessons at the hands of the most senior scholars of his time in Andalusia, he undertook a long scientific journey between the Maghreb and around the East, attending the major centers of civilization, culture, thought and literature. Thirteen authors in poetry, literature and geography died in Tunisia and it was said in Damascus in 1286.
