The activities of the Shakeeb Jabri Festival for Novelist Creativity "The Sabah Mohiuddin Course" included a book fair, in addition to a critical symposium on the literature of the late novelists, Shakeeb Jabri and Sabah Mohiuddin, with the participation of a group of writers at the National Library in Aleppo.

The exhibition included various publications and titles in thought, literature, history, education, novel and poetry, at nominal prices.

The director of culture in Aleppo, Jaber Al-Sajour, stated that the festival extends over a period of 3 days, during which fictional studies are presented on the late writers Shakib Al-Jabri and Sabah Mohiuddin, who was chosen to be the title of this year's festival because of its importance in the field of literature.

Muhammad Hijazi, director of the National Library in Aleppo, stated that Shakeeb Al-Jabri is the pioneer of the novel in Syria and contributed to laying out the outlines of the Syrian novel alongside the writer Sabah Mohiuddin, pointing out that the festival includes deep glimpses of these two stars about the novel and pointing to the diversity of books in the exhibition, including politics and literature. And economy in addition to children's books, which are of interest to everyone.

For his part, Abd al-Rahman Tawil, head of the Cultural Center in Afrin, stressed the importance of these literary festivals as they work to expand community culture, especially as they include book exhibitions at nominal, encouraging prices that contribute to spreading the culture of reading.

Poet Rola Abdel Hamid considered the exhibition a cultural beacon, pointing to the diversity of titles in it, including books of literary and critical studies, stories and novels that "nourish the minds of readers."

It is noteworthy that Dr. Sabah Muhyiddin is a novelist, writer and researcher who has literary studies on the impact of Arab civilization in Europe and contributed to establishing newspapers and magazines in Beirut and Paris and writing in them.
