The French health authorities announced the registration of 7,017 new confirmed cases of coronavirus today.
According to Reuters, this is the third time since the beginning of the virus outbreak that the daily number of infections exceeds seven thousand, a sharp rise from yesterday's number of 4,982 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 293024.
The number of people who died in France as a result of the Covid-19 disease caused by Corona rose by 25 cases today, to 30,686 in total.
