(CNN) -
'I Like To Move It' DJ Erick Morillo has died at age 49, according to Miami Beach police.
The world-famous DJ was found dead in his Florida home Tuesday morning, police say.
Ernesto Rodríguez, a spokesman for the Miami Beach police, told CNN that there were no apparent signs of foul play and that the cause of death will be determined by the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner's Office.
Morillo was arrested last month after being charged with the sexual assault of a woman in December, according to CNN affiliate WPLG.
He was scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
The Colombian-born artist had a great influence on house music during his 30-year career.
Morillo, who grew up in New York and New Jersey, had a hit early in his career with El General's single "Muévelo."
But it was his 1994 Reel 2 Real song "Go On Move," also known as "I Like To Move It," that made him a household name.
The song had a revival in the 2005 animated film "Madagascar."
Paved the way for today's DJs: Steve Angello of the Swedish House Mafia said in 2012 that Morillo "taught me to

In addition to regularly performing in the United States and Europe, Morillo also became known for his sunrise sets on the island of Ibiza.
