Blink has found a solution that will convince many: it has created cameras capable of recording up to two years on two AA batteries or four years using an additional battery module that will be launched on the market this year.

Both connect to the home's WiFi network to transmit the images and can be viewed from an app on the cell phone or from an Amazon Fire device.
Although it is a separate brand, Blink is part of Amazon and therefore easily integrates with Alexa and other compatible products.
In the app, areas of movement can be defined so that the device alerts the user when it detects something unexpected and ignores any movement that occurs outside of it, such as traffic on the street.
The camera is intended to be used with a Blink Subscription Plan cloud storage service, which costs $ 3 / month per camera or $ 10 / month for an unlimited number of cameras.
This system stores video for 60 days and allows you to easily share recorded videos.
Blink will also soon offer a module, the Blink Sync Module 2, which allows videos to be stored on a local hard drive connected via USB, thus saving the need for a subscription service.
If you only need to access the camera video in real time or when there is a certain event, however, you do not need to subscribe to any service.
