Soccer star Neymar is one of three Paris Saint-Germain players who has contracted coronavirus, according to various reports, including

, which cited people familiar with the matter.
French media said the 28-year-old along with Ángel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes tested positive after returning from a vacation in Ibiza, Spain.

Earlier Wednesday, a PSG press release read: “Three players were confirmed positive after a Sars CoV2 test and have undergone proper health protocols.
All players and staff will continue to be evaluated over the next few days.
CNN contacted each of the three player representatives for comment.
The club declined to confirm the identity of the players to CNN.

revealed the identity of the players along with many other media outlets.
Neymar is the most expensive footballer in the world after signing for PSG for 263 million dollars in 2017. Ten days ago, the Brazilian was part of the PSG team that lost in the Champions League final.
Neymar, along with the other two players, now faces the prospect of missing the start of the new season, which will begin on September 10.
There are strict protocols that require players who have tested positive for the virus to self-isolate.
