The shocking black hole that measures more than the sun

A study published in the journal Physical Review Letters revealed the creation of the first intermediate mass black hole, which is 142 times that of the sun.

According to the publication, the rupture is the product of the largest collision of two black holes on record so far, derived from an explosion that occurred 7,000 million years ago.
