The last time he was discharged from the hospital was in October last year when he attended Yan Lin's funeral.
Afterwards, Yanlin's father's spirit deteriorated and he began to yell in the corridor outside the residence, and refused to follow up.
Because he violated the conditions of the discharge order, he was called into Castle Peak Hospital again earlier this year.

He obtained more information from the psychiatric department of Qingshan Hospital last month, revealing that Yanlin's father became a Qingshan patient in 1996. He had taken methamphetamine before, but he stopped taking drugs in 2014 and now suffers from schizoaffective disorder.
