Russian Georgy Bazekin, one of the scientists who study “virus behavior,” revealed that the new Corona virus arrived in Russia from Europe, not from China.

The Russian newspaper Komsmolskaya Pravda reported that “Bazekin and his scientific team studied more than 200 options for coronavirus that were taken from patients during the months of March and April, which helped understand how the pandemic began in Russia and it became clear to them that the Corona virus arrived in the country from Europe, not from China.”

"We currently know a lot about coronavirus mutations, and we know that it uses RNA as genetic material and it changes rapidly, as you get on average one mutation per line within two weeks, and the average period of transmission from one person to another is five days," Bazekin said.

Bazekin indicated that, from the results of the study, 119 different types of coronavirus were obtained, which are the result of mutations that occurred, but the number of these mutations worldwide has exceeded a thousand, and this number is increasing, considering that this does not mean that the characteristics of the virus change much.
