Today, Spain is close to crossing the half-million mark of coronavirus infections, after 4,503 new infections were recorded.
The Spanish Ministry of Health stated that the total number of HIV infections in the country reached 498,989 cases, which is the highest in Western Europe.
The ministry indicated that 19 new deaths were recorded due to the virus, bringing the total deaths to 29,148 cases.
The death rate remained far below the peak in the months of March and April, when cases exceeded 800 deaths per day.
