According to Chief Inspector Steffen Frühauf, the perpetrator knocked over a bus stop sign on his nightly foray through the Obermarkt, as far as was known, demolished a construction site barrier, distributed logs on the sidewalk in front of an inn, overturned a rubbish bin, threw damaged signs at various medical practices Flower tubs and tore flowers from beds.

A 72-year-old eyewitness who observed the crime from her home described the man as about 35 years old and stocky.

The man screamed loudly on his foray.
