Unknown persons fired on Leandro Báez's house in Río Gallegos this Saturday, while the family of Lázaro Báez's youngest son were not at the scene, his lawyers reported.
The shots hit the kitchen and now the Santa Cruz police are studying the images captured by a security camera.
Last week, unknown persons had stolen the case document from the lawyer Alejandro Valdini, who is preparing the final argument in the case of Ruta del Dinero K.
Last month, federal prosecutor Abel Córdoba said today that the eldest son of the arrested businessman Lázaro Báez, Martín, led, together with his father, the money laundering maneuvers for which both are now being tried and that his three younger brothers "shared" roles and functions to carry out the crime for an amount estimated at 55 million dollars.
Córdoba continued today his final argument in the trial for the "money route" before the Federal Oral Court 4 and anticipated that he will request sentences for 17 defendants, including Báez and his children, the financier Fabián Rossi, the repentant Leonardo Fariña, the former lawyer of Báez Jorge Chueco and his former accountant Daniel Perez Gadín.
The hearing was resumed remotely and an interim room was arranged, after which the prosecutor will conclude his plea with a request for penalties.
Córdoba referred to the role that the accused had in the maneuvers.
Regarding Báez's children, he placed Martín Báez "as the one who, together with his father, has led the washing maneuvers" in coordination "with the professionals who take charge of the washing company, first Fariña, then Perez Gadín and Chueco."
"This reflects their interest to us to sophisticate the maneuver, we found it in meetings in Switzerland", maintained the public prosecutor when mentioning the banks of that country where accounts were opened.
The "responsibility of Martín Báez is evident from the beginning to the end of the maneuver, he is the perpetrator with a greater role in these events, even with a greater personal role than his father.
Regarding his three brothers, Leandro, Luciana and Melina, the prosecution accused them as necessary participants with "shared roles and functions."
"They have had to act in parallel and assume similar degrees of participation with some preeminence of Leandro Báez, the three act on the same plane with acting conscious and coordinated," he concluded.
Córdoba also alluded to the situation of the financier Rossi, on whom he ruled out that he had been a "cadet" in the finance company that dealt with handling the money of the Baez.
"He brings experience, knowledge, contacts and unconditional disposition to build the corporate network abroad and open accounts in Panama and Switzerland," Córdoba listed.
Rossi "had control of the accounts, he only moved around 15 million dollars. His attempt to position himself as a cadet who does some errands is not supported," he concluded.
