A 14-year-old boy with a medical background collapsed this morning (Sunday) during a football game on Mahal Street in Jerusalem.
The MDA team provided him with medical treatment, and he was taken to Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus, during resuscitation operations. Israel Today learned that the sports activity did not take place at the school.
MDA paramedics Noam Levy and Moshe Hemed said: "When we arrived at the field, we saw the boy lying on the grass unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing. We quickly began to perform medical tests."
"We were told he had a medical background. We immediately started giving him advanced treatment that included performing CPR and a defibrillator. We put him in an intensive care unit and evacuated him to the hospital in critical condition while continuing to perform CPR."
