The General Electricity Company in Aleppo rehabilitated and repaired 107 transmission centers and put them into service this year as part of its plan to rehabilitate the electrical system that was damaged by terrorism, to add to the 1,250 centers that were rehabilitated since the liberation of Aleppo from terrorism until the year 2019.

Engineer Muhammad Al-Saleh, Director of the Aleppo Electricity Company, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the company's cadres continued to work despite the difficulties they faced in terms of securing the necessary materials in addition to the Corona virus, with the aim of doubling the number of eligible centers and feeding neighborhoods and towns that were freed from terrorism with electricity, pointing out that the electrical supply included the neighborhoods of Aleppo The liberation, starting from Salah al-Din, Saif al-Dawla, al-Zabadiya, Bustan al-Qasr, and feeding a section of al-Kalasa neighborhood and the old city of Aleppo, passing through Sheikh Faris, Sheikh Khader and al-Hulk, and the electrical current will be delivered to the neighborhood of Firdaws and Ansari.

And he indicated that the workshops are currently working in the vicinity of the city of Aleppo and in the countryside to deliver the electrical current to the people returning to their homes and villages and to reach the implementation of the plan by the end of this year to put 300 transfer centers in service, where work is being carried out in the Khafsa area in the governorate countryside east of Aleppo and the towns of Deir Hafer, As-Safira, and the Samaan area, west of Aleppo. Reflected positively on the citizen, improving the electrical reality in the governorate, and eliminating the exploitation of the owners of generators and amperes.

With regard to the industrial zones, he explained that electricity was supplied to most of them, the last of which was the industrial zone in Karm Al-Qatirji, and currently work is being intensified to place six transfer centers in service in the Ramoussa area, west of Aleppo, as well as the Jibreen craft area.
