On the recommendation of the Ministry of Justice: The Nature and Parks Authority froze a plan for a separate bath
The PA decided to give up the pilot that was supposed to be tested during the month, and will discuss the issue together with the Ministry of Justice.
According to the plan, the authority intended to allow separate bathing between men and women in two wading pools in the reserve, for four times a week for three and a half hours at a time.

The Nature and Parks Authority decided today (Wednesday) to freeze the pilot in which it sought to examine the feasibility of separate bathing for men and women in the Einot Tzukim (Ein Peshcha) nature reserve.
The authority said that the move had been decided, on the recommendation of the Ministry of Justice, and that the authority would examine the issue in a joint dialogue with them.
Originally, the authority intended to allow separate gender bathing during the month of September, for four times a week, for three and a half hours at a time, in two wading pools in the reserve.
The Authority's website said earlier this week that "in recent years we have received many requests and inquiries from hikers interested in separate bathing in the public's natural resources at the Authority's sites. During the hot summer and Tishrei holidays, immersions in springs or wading pools are a popular favorite."
The Authority explained that "in light of the demand and referrals to the Nature and Parks Authority from a population that insists on separate bathing, we are preparing for this in the Einot Tzukim (Ein Peshcha) Nature Reserve - a beautiful oasis, with magical pools and rich vegetation."

The website also states that they are "trying to find solutions for this traveling public, which without providing the possibility of a separate bath, will prevent it from the possibility, which exists for the rest of the public, to enjoy the resource."
The Authority emphasized that "the operation of the separate bathing will be done with a proportionate and minimal impact on the public, and while adhering to a number of relevant dates throughout the year, for a limited number of hours and at a number of selected sites."
The pilot, which was planned for September, was to be carried out four times a week for a limited time, while at the same time there were to be parallel bathing options for the public who were not interested in separate bathing.
The authority clarified that "the large pool will be open to the general public, and the two smaller lower paddling pools will be operated for a few hours, and in a limited number of days, for the benefit of the separate bath."

Adv. Irit Rosenblum, founder and CEO of the New Family organization, welcomed the decision of the Nature and Parks Authority to suspend the separate bathing pilot in Einot Tzukim, and said that "once and for all, separation is not equality, but exclusion based on the desire for dark parts of Israeli society. For a public space free of women. "
Advocate Rosenblum added that "instead of fighting exclusion, the state cooperates with it and gives it legitimacy, this time even in nature that should be open and accessible to all." She said, "I expect Minister Gila Gamliel, in charge of the Nature and Parks Authority, to cancel the pilot. His absolute.
"This dangerous move that is degenerating Israel into another step on the slope of discrimination and exclusion must not be allowed."
