The increase that the governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, gave to the police officers had an immediate cascading effect on the state unions.

This Monday, the groups that bring together state workers, teachers, doctors and judges, among others,

asked that they be immediately summoned to joint meetings

to discuss their salaries.

In a joint statement the unions raised their "concern and rejection of the method used by a sector of the Buenos Aires Police to carry out a legitimate claim for wages and working conditions."

But in turn they demanded the beginning of "salary negotiations in which

an immediate recomposition

of assets

is guaranteed

."

"The installation in the streets of armed police forces and using the mobiles provided by the State exceed the forms accepted by our society to resolve conflicts in a state of law and put democratic institutions at risk," they said.

The educational unions asked, along with the rest of the state unions, to summon joint meetings.

In this context, they stated that "the deterioration of wages reported in that claim affects all state workers in the Province, so it

is urgent to call

for continuity in wage negotiations in all sectors of the State in which an immediate recomposition of assets is guaranteed ".

They also highlighted as a positive measure "the recovery of the coparticipation points that correspond to our Province" and the project for a tax on large fortunes to "advance in tax reforms that affect the sectors with greater tax capacity."

However, they asked that these resources "allow the State to improve its capacities and

restore the wages of its workers

."

In addition, the letter did not leave out the open conflicts with the social security institutions: "We reaffirm

the defense of the IPS and the IOMA

, and we demand the protagonist participation of workers in the resolution of the difficult situation our institutions are going through. of social security ".

The statement was signed by

Aemopba, AJB, Amet, APL, ATE, Cicop, FEB, Fegeppba, Fresimubo, Suteba

and

Udocba

.
