Head of the National Election Commission in Egypt, Lashin Ibrahim, announced that parliamentary elections will take place in the country on the 24th and 25th of next October, while Egyptians abroad will vote from the 21st to the 23rd of the same month.
The Al-Masry Al-Youm website quoted Lachin as saying that the door to candidacy for the Parliament elections was opened from the 17th to the 23rd of this September, with 284 seats in the individual system and 284 in the lists.
Lashin said that the authority has set strict rules for entering the electoral commissions while taking all precautions to preserve the safety of voters in light of the Corona pandemic.
