Group42, an artificial intelligence company from the United Arab Emirates, will open an office in Israel.

The company, based in Abu Dhabi, will be the first UAE company to open an office in the country, following the signing of the normalization agreement between the two countries.

The company announced tonight (Thursday) that the new office will employ Israelis and emirates, who will initially focus on solutions for diagnosing corona patients, artificial intelligence technology, technological solutions in the field of agriculture and water and the issue of renewable energy.

The CEO of Group42 said in a statement issued by the company that the establishment of the firm in Israel will allow the company to have access to the world's leading high-tech industry, and is also intended to convey a message of openness and joining forces with international partners.

In recent weeks, Group42 has signed several deals with Israeli companies, such as the Memorandum of Understanding with Rafael and IAI for the development of Corona testing technology, and as an agreement with the Israeli company Nanosent, which also develops technology for identifying Corona patients.
