A video that was distributed this morning (Thursday), during which a person is documented who appears to be an Israeli railway worker, does not allow an ultra-Orthodox couple to board the train, causing a storm on social media.

In the video, taken at the train station in Bat Yam, the man is seen wearing a glow vest, saying: "There is no entrance for the ultra-Orthodox," when passengers who were at the scene confronted him and said that it was outrageous discrimination.

With the distribution of the video, and after the angry reactions on the Internet, Israel Railways claimed that it was not their employee at all, but a person who entered the platform, impersonated the train employee and found a rather ugly way to protest the morbidity in the ultra-Orthodox cities.

He was removed from the scene by train workers and a complaint will even be filed against him to the police.

Transport Minister Miri Regev responded to the incident and said she was shocked to see the difficult video.

"Such statements and such conduct will not be in my school," she said, adding that she ordered an investigation to be opened immediately.

She updated that a preliminary investigation she conducted with the Israel Railways director general revealed that it was not an Israel Railways employee but an impostor who entered the station compound and was detained by police forces. That should not happen. "

Update: A preliminary investigation I conducted with the CEO of Israel Railways shows that this is not an Israel Railways employee but an impostor who entered the station compound and was detained by the police forces.

I instructed the general manager of the train to check how an impostor got on the train and managed to impersonate a train worker and harm the public.

Something that must not happen.

The Israel Railways said: "In the last few minutes, a video was released in which a man with a yellow vest was seen standing on the platform of a train station and was abusive to passengers. It should be clarified that the man is impersonating an employee "By the train crews immediately. The train will file a complaint with the police and consider further legal action against him."
