Report in Syria: Defense systems intercept Israeli missiles over Aleppo

According to the official news agency SANA, the defense systems thwarted an Israeli attack in the northwest of the country. No casualties or damage is yet known. This is the third attack attributed to Israel in Syria since the beginning of the month.

The Israeli Air Force has attacked targets in the northwestern Syrian city of Aleppo, Sanaa, the country's official news agency, reported last night (Friday). Israel reportedly launched several missiles into the area, but these were intercepted by Syrian defense systems.

This is the third attack attributed to Israel in Syria since the beginning of the month.

A week ago, reports SANA that the Israeli air force attacked targets in the area of Homs in western country. According to the report, Israel launched missiles at air base T4, but air defense systems were activated and thwarted the attack. There were no casualties.

A few days earlier attacked arsenals of Syrian army and Hezbollah 11 people killed, according to the Syrian Organization for Human Rights. They are the focal point where Hezbollah operates, but no casualties are known from the organization.
