At least 7 people died in riots in Bogotá and Soacha, Colombia.
The protests are due to the death of Javier Ordóñez, a 44-year-old lawyer who was detained and beaten by two police officers and who died hours later in a hospital.
On Wednesday night, demonstrations called to demand justice for Ordóñez ended in riots and clashes with the forces of order.
