Across the Middle East, they responded tonight (Friday) to the peace agreement announced between Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

While Bahrain's allies praised the move, the Palestinians and the Iranian perpetrators condemned the Arab state's decision to establish relations with Israel.

Hamas terrorist spokesman Hazem Qassem reacted angrily, saying, "Countries joining normalization with Israel are becoming partners in the Century Plan, which is aggression against our people. Normalization causes great damage to the Palestinian issue and supports the occupation and the Zionist narrative."

From Ramallah, it was reported that the Palestinian leadership is calling on Bahrain to withdraw immediately from the peace agreement with Israel: this is a very dangerous step that will harm the Arab peace initiative.

The wizard organization also condemned the agreement and called it a "betrayal."

The Islamic Jihad terrorist organization issued a brief statement saying: "The agreement illustrates the US oversight of Bahrain, and how the King of Bahrain and his government are acting in accordance with American directives."

In Iran, Bahrain's neighbor, too, rushed to attack the agreement. Amir Abdullahian, an adviser on international affairs to Iranian parliamentary speaker Muhammad Bakr Kalibaf, responded:

The reckless rulers of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates do not have to pave the way for Zionists in the region.

"Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates need to think about the difficult days ahead and draw lessons from history."

"A step towards a just agreement for the Palestinians"

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi issued a brief statement on his behalf referring to the agreement between Israel and Bahrain stating that "the agreement between Israel and Bahrain is a step towards achieving a just and long-term agreement on the Palestinian issue."

Al-Sisi also telephoned King of Bahrain Hamed bin Issa al-Khalifa.

"The peace agreement with Israel will increase the chances of achieving peace in the Middle East," al-Sisi told King Hamed.

UAE Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Hind al-Utayba: We extend our congratulations to Bahrain and Israel on their decision to establish full diplomatic relations.

This day is another significant and historic achievement that will greatly contribute to the stability and prosperity of the region.
