  • A rental car was checked in Weilheim due to unsafe driving

  • 135 bottles of high quality alcohol were discovered in the car

  • The inmates did not want to reveal where the alcohol came from

Weilheim -

The car had been checked because other road users had reported the unsafe driving style.

In the rental car sat two men who are registered as residents in Leipzig.

According to the police report, they had neither proof of ownership, nor could they conclusively explain the origin of the high-quality alcoholic beverages worth 4200 euros.

Therefore, the car and its occupants were brought to the Weilheim police station.

Start theft proceedings

After consulting the Munich II public prosecutor's office, the alcohol was seized and criminal proceedings opened against the two men because of a particularly serious case of theft.

After the interrogation, they were released that night - an inspection of the driver's ability to drive had not previously yielded a negative result.

You can also read about a serious accident in which beer bottles were in the car and a fire that the apartment owner started himself.
