Ahmed Al-Ibrahim, Director of Education in Homs, told SANA that the partial rehabilitation work included 200 schools in the governorate at a cost of 150 million pounds, while 60 schools were comprehensively repaired and rehabilitated, at a value of about 222 million pounds, pointing out that this school year will witness the return of 13 schools damaged by terrorism to receive pupils and students in The primary and secondary education stages, after carrying out all maintenance and rehabilitation work, and securing their requirements, and they are distributed in the neighborhoods of the city and the countryside of the governorate after normal life has returned to them and terrorism has been defeated.
Al-Ibrahim pointed to the continuation of maintenance and rehabilitation work for all schools in the governorate within the available capabilities, after studying the reality and examining it in the field during the last period by the school health and buildings departments in the directorate to monitor the physical environment with the aim of taking all precautionary measures to address the Corona epidemic and applying the health protocol prepared by the ministry in order to ensure that Continuing the educational and teaching process in a safe and healthy environment. All school supplies have been secured, and resource rooms have been created to meet the needs of students with disabilities in the first cycle.
