US President Donald Trump said tonight (Thursday) that another country may soon join the political agreement signed between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
The Trump administration, which is expected to host the signing ceremony next Tuesday along with Israeli delegations and the UAE, has tried to get other Gulf states, such as Bahrain and Oman, to join normalization with Israel.
Israel and the United Arab Emirates agreed last month to normalize relations, in a deal that Trump helped close.
He did not reveal the name of the country that might be the next to join, but predicted that Saudi Arabia would eventually do so.
"You will hear about other countries entering into an agreement in the near future, and we can have peace in the Middle East," he said.
The US president added that "what will eventually happen is that there will be quite a few countries that will enter, after the big ones go in."
He said, "I talked to the king of Saudi Arabia, we're talking about it. And you can see them coming in."

The Saudi Arabian embassy in Washington has not responded to a question as to whether any Saudi representative is expected to attend the signing ceremony of the agreement between Israel and the Emirates next week at the White House.
Yesterday, Trump's senior adviser Jared Kushner announced that the Saudi Arabian government has agreed to open its airspace to all flights departing from Israel to the east.
In a briefing for reporters ahead of the signing ceremony with the Emirates at the White House next week, Kushner explained that following the Saudi decision, any plane arriving from Israel and requesting transit clearance in Saudi airspace would receive it.

Failure for the Palestinians: The Arab League did not condemn the agreement between Israel and the Emirates

Although Saudi Arabia did not follow the UAE and announced normalization of relations, allowing Israeli aircraft to use Saudi airspace is a very significant step, with implications for the Israeli economy and tourism.
Kushner thanked Saudi Arabia's King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman for the gesture, stressing that the Palestinian issue is very important to both.
Earlier this week, Trump spoke with King Salman of Saudi Arabia, congratulating him on opening the skies to flights between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, following a normalization of relations between the two countries.
Salman clarified that his country is determined to find a solution to the Palestinian issue - based on the Arab peace initiative.
The White House statement said that in a phone call the two had, Trump urged King Salman to talk to other Gulf states in an attempt to resolve the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
Saudi Arabia's foreign minister, Faisal bin Farhan, said the opening of airspace to flights did not indicate a change in the kingdom's determined stance on the Palestinian issue.
