What is the plan approved by the Corona Cabinet?
Corona Cabinet Ministers endorsed the recommendation of the Ministry of Health and Corona Commissioner Prof. Roni Gamzo for a three-stage and long-term plan to lower morbidity data.
The decision will be submitted to the government for approval this coming Sunday.
The government will set the dates on which the various stages will take effect.
This, while applying the second and third stages will be subject to meeting the goals to be defined and to reducing morbidity.
The first phase will last about two weeks, the second will last an additional 14 days and the third phase will take place beyond the activity according to the traffic light layout.
When will the restrictions take effect?
A final decision on the start of the general closure has not yet been made, and the issue will be decided on Sunday by the government.
The health system and some of the ministers wanted the closure to take effect as early as next Wednesday.
However, Interior Minister Aryeh Deri said at the meeting that if the closure begins on Friday, September 18, hours before New Year's Eve, it will allow two more trading days ahead of the holidays, which will reduce the damage to the economy.
The second phase of the restrictions is expected to apply during Sukkot, from October 2 at 5:00 a.m. to October 11 at 5:00 p.m.
The start of the third phase of the program is expected on October 15.

Phase A - closure for two weeks

What are the traffic restrictions?
In the first phase of the closure, which is currently expected to last about two weeks, the movement of people to a distance of more than 500 meters from the place of residence will be banned.

Which businesses will remain open?

Restaurants will also be closed during this period, but deliveries will be possible.
In addition, there will be no leisure and entertainment venues, as well as commercial and domestic tourism businesses.
Also in the second phase, which will last an additional 14 days between October 2-11, the entertainment venues will be closed, including restaurants, malls, domestic tourism and businesses where there is a public reception.
In addition, work in the public sector will be allowed in an emergency format, and in the private sector the number of employees will be reduced from 30% to 50%.

Where is it allowed to pray?
In the first stage, public prayers were allowed in the open space or in closed spaces.

The city lines will operate in the format of two trips per hour, with the main lines operating three times per hour.
No instruction has yet been received regarding the Israel Railways.
