The Israeli delegation to the signing ceremony of the normalization agreements with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain left tonight (Sunday) for Washington, where the ceremony is expected to take place at the White House this coming Tuesday.
Tonight, at a press conference in which he announced another closure during the Tishrei holidays, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also referred to the ceremony and the normalization agreements that are expected to be signed there.
"I am on a mission for a historic mission," Netanyahu said.
"I go out to bring peace out of peace, peace out of power."
He added that this was a "historic mission", and detailed that he was expected to meet during the visit with US President Donald Trump and representatives of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
"I am going out to bring peace out of itself. This is a new era of peace. Political and economic peace will flow thousands of dollars into our economy. It is always good, but especially in Corona," Netanyahu added.

The head of the Mossad, Yossi Cohen, also arrived at the Prime Minister's convoy, and spoke before the departure about the great excitement ahead of the trip, and about the efforts to attach additional countries to the normalization agreements.
"The excitement is huge," the head of the Mossad said.
"The agreement was made possible thanks to a lot of people and I very much hope that there will be more countries, working on more countries, it depends on both them and us."
Cohen added that "this is an exciting journey. A lot of good people have been working on this matter for years. Hopefully we will anticipate efforts for peace and also bring them."

Prior to the delegation's arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, dozens of demonstrators blocked the entrances to Ben Gurion Airport and a section of Highway 40, between the Bedek junction and the El Al junction. The Prime Minister takes off for Washington.

Several dozen people demonstrated at the scene, and police directed traffic because heavy traffic was created.
Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.
The "Prime Minister" organization said that "just before the 'Netanyahu closure', the defendant raises his hands and runs away for four days of a campaign and cocktail in the United States."
They added that "while the people of Israel are in uncertainty due to the confused guidelines, with a collapsing economy - Bibi and Sarah are flying for a week of ceremonies and champagne."
