Introduce proportionality in the method of electing deputies?
It was the initial project of Emmanuel Macron who, as part of a global institutional "package" proposed both to reduce the total number of parliamentarians and to elect 20% of members proportional.
The absence of the majority required to bring about a constitutional revision and the lack of time to operate within a decent period of time a redistribution of the constituencies render the initial version of the government obsolete.
