Small van flies over motorway exit

An 18-year-old Eichenauer (Fürstenfeldbruck district) had a spectacular accident, luckily without injuries, on the A95 on Wednesday.

He wanted to take the Sindelsdorf exit in a Fiat Ducato van around 9.10 am, but according to the police report he was "too late or too fast".

That is why the young man left the lane in the exit area, “sailed” over an earth wall before, after crossing the access lane, came to a stop in a meadow after a few meters.

During its "flight into the countryside", according to the police, the vehicle cleared a speed limit sign and two delineator posts.

These few hundred euros add up to the damage to the no longer drivable vehicle amounting to 15,000 euros.

The Starnberg autobahn maintenance facility had to clean the lane, but there were no significant hindrances.

Car brushes against Penzberg motorcyclists

A motorcyclist was injured in an accident on the B 472 in the Bichl area on Tuesday evening.

His vehicle and an oncoming car had brushed against each other.

According to the police, a 35-year-old Geretsriederin was on the road towards Bad Tölz at around 8:10 p.m. when she - as a witness reported - came into the opposite lane.

There she touched the 29-year-old Penzberger's Honda machine with her Seat.

The motorcyclist drove a few more meters.

Finally he managed to bring his machine to a stop without falling.

However, he had injured his arm and complained of pain in his stomach and was taken to the UKM Murnau.

There was property damage of 300 euros on the motorcycle and 1500 euros on the car.

Obersöchering: Cyclist survives an accident with a car uninjured

Fortunately, the accident of a cyclist with a car went off lightly.

A 55-year-old driver from Riegsee was driving Aidlinger Strasse towards Obersöchering at 11:05 a.m. on Tuesday when a cyclist crossed the Steigweg from the left.

The 78-year-old from Penzberg did not notice the right of way driver when he drove onto Aidlinger Straße.

The driver could no longer prevent a collision and hit the cyclist head-on.

This was thrown into the meadow on the right edge of the road.

As if by a miracle, the senior only suffered various abrasions and bruises all over his body from the fall, he was taken to the hospital by ambulance to treat the injuries.

Damage to the bike amounted to 150 euros.

The front of the car was damaged in the amount of 1500 euros.
