Fürstenfeldbruck

- A fire brigade on Tuesday evening led to traffic chaos in downtown Bruck.

In order to rescue an injured person from a building, the fire fighters had to completely block the main road in the middle of rush hour traffic.

According to the police, a roommate found the 48-year-old with a wound on his head in his bed around 5 p.m.

Shortly afterwards, the injured man lost consciousness.

The alarmed emergency doctor called in the fire brigade.

The building's stairwell was too narrow to take the man away.

In addition, the severity of the injury made rescue as gentle as possible, explains a spokesman for the Bruck fire brigade.

The helpers therefore used a turntable ladder to get the 48-year-old from the first floor.

An ambulance then took the man to the fire station, where a rescue helicopter was already waiting.

This flew the injured person to the accident clinic in Murnau.

During the rescue, the helpers had to protect the injured from the looks of onlookers.

Cell phones were also pulled out, according to the fire department.

With their own blankets and tablecloths from a nearby restaurant, the rescue workers formed a screen.

The wound on the head had apparently been sustained by Mann when he fell in the stairwell of the workers' house.

At least that's what he told his roommate before he lost consciousness, explains Michael Fischer from the Fürstenfeldbruck police.

There was also evidence of blood in the stairwell.

As Fischer further reports, the 48-year-old appeared at his place of work that morning.

There he was sent home because of his injury.

Apparently he spent the rest of the day in his bed.

There is no evidence of third-party debt, says Fischer.

First report September 16, 11.30 a.m.

Fürstenfeldbruck

- According to initial findings, someone had fallen badly in an adjacent house and had to be rescued using a turntable ladder.

The Fürstenfeldbruck fire department reports.

At the same time, the emergency services had to protect the patient from the eyes of onlookers.

Because of the use of the turntable ladder, the main road was closed in both directions.

In the evening rush hour traffic, there were considerable obstructions.

The person who had fallen was first taken to the Bruck fire station in an ambulance.

From there, a rescue helicopter went to a hospital.
