The death of a child due to a traffic accident on the Homs-Tartous road

A child died in a traffic accident on the international highway in Homs-Tartous, near the village of Al-Jaafarat in the Tal Kalakh area in the western countryside of Homs.

A source at the Public Roads Police Station in Tal Kalakh told a SANA reporter that the accident was caused by the explosion of one of the tires of a truck loaded with rocks, which led to it colliding with the middle of the road and overturning to the other lane, flying rocks and colliding with a pickup and the immediate death of a child.
