Today, the health authorities in the Netherlands announced the registration of 1753 new cases of the emerging coronavirus, in a record increase for the third consecutive day, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 8,073.
Yesterday, the authorities recorded 1542 new confirmed cases.
In Jordan, 279 new cases of the virus were announced, including 270 local infections, while the capital, Amman, was 145 cases.
Thus, the total number of injuries in Jordan rose to 3,852, and deaths remained at 26, while the number of people recovered reached 2,349.
In this context, responsible sources announced the suspension of institutional quarantine for those coming to Jordan, starting from September 23, and the imposition of home quarantine for seven days, while a comprehensive ban will be imposed in the areas of Ghori Al-Safi and Al-Mazraa in the southern Jordanian governorate of Karak, starting next Sunday for a period of two weeks.
