Head-bashing and wounding occurred in Sham Shui Po.

At about 11 pm on Friday (18th), an old man surnamed Yuan (76 years old) was cycling through a park outside Fu Ying Building, Fu Cheong Village. He was reportedly hit by two to three men with a hard object. Being pushed against the wall, the victim fought hard and the evil spirits scattered and fled.

After the incident, Yuan Weng was battered and sat on the roadside of the park waiting for rescue. The nearby security guards and neighbourhoods saw this. They suspected that he had been robbed and called the police in shock.

A pool of blood stains was left at the scene, but Yuan Weng said there was no loss and he was not sure of the other's motives.

The police classified the case as "wounding" and the Criminal Investigation Team of the Sham Shui Po District has taken over and followed up.
