A 32-year-old woman was seriously injured after being found in her home with stab wounds and severe bruises all over her body, her husband was arrested on suspicion of stabbing and beating her.
The woman, a resident of Mitzpe Ramon, was evacuated to Soroka Hospital by helicopter while she was anesthetized and breathing and her condition was defined as very serious.
The husband was taken for further investigation.
MDA paramedic Omar Al-Maqawi, who was at the scene of the incident, said: “When we arrived on the street there was a lot of commotion, policemen who were at the scene and neighbors led us into the apartment.
The wounded woman lay in a vague consciousness with injuries to her body.
We provided her with life-saving medical treatment that included stopping bleeding, giving medication and resuscitation and evacuated her to an MDA helicopter that evacuated her to the hospital in a difficult and unstable condition. "
MK Ofer Kasif responded to the stabbing of a woman by her husband in Mitzpe Ramon and said: "Tonight, Rosh Hashanah, a woman was stabbed by her partner and she is in a difficult condition.
