At least 26 people have died in the wildfires that burn primarily in Northern California. According to information from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, known as Cal Fire, more than 19,000 firefighters continue to be deployed to contain 27 fires. Jaqueline Hurtado spoke with a firefighter helping contain the Bobcat fire in the south of the state. The fire not only poses a danger to the locals, but also threatens historic sites and telecommunications masts that are crucial to Los Angeles.
