An exciting project in Buch is the future design of the town center.
Buch am Buchrain - An important component that is currently in focus is the redesign of the Loibl area, on which Buch's only restaurant is located.
As reported, the property owners are planning a significant redesign of this area, which will benefit apartment hunters.
A number of living spaces and row houses are to be built there.
The Buch municipal council already approved the preliminary draft of these plans at the beginning of July.
The early involvement of the authorities will follow soon.
Mayor Ferdinand Geisberger is very pleased that the development plan draft also provides for a restaurant in the future: “We are already happy about it.” Whether a new building or renovation of the restaurant will take place will only be determined in later cooperation with the architect and owners.
The municipal council had already decided in March to plan an overarching development concept for the town center together with the Office for Rural Development.
According to Geisberger, preparations are underway for an appointment with the committee.
The public should then be involved.
The mayor is not yet able to say what the future town center will look like for him personally and what will happen to the fire station after moving out, for example.
“We'll deal with that when we have time and money again,” he said with a smile and referred to the currently ongoing, expensive major projects.
There are undoubtedly several factors that need to be considered in the concept of the new town center.
As a result of the planned redesign of the Loibl area, the parking lot situation is changing.
The parking spaces in front of the guest house and the pizzeria Gallo Nero will be clearly indicated in future according to current planning and only for their guests, not for the public.
At church services or events in the center, the area has recently been increasingly used by numerous visitors.
"We will have to take that into account," said Geisberger about the parking space requirements in the center of Buch.
The planned move of the recycling yard to the building yard will also free up another central area.
According to the Bucher Town Hall chief, preparatory planning should take place promptly, but implementation will take some time.
