A large majority of seniors still enjoy the pleasure of living.
But this feeling is in continuous decline: it reached its lowest historical level in all the countries of Europe.
This is what a barometer produced by Ipsos for Korian, the leading European group of retirement homes, reveals.
According to this survey, in France, only 70% of those over 65 consider that life is a source of pleasure - down 9 points since 2016. This places France ahead of Italy, where this figure does not exceed not 67%, but behind Germany (79%) and Belgium (72%).

The feeling of isolation, heightened by the long weeks of confinement, contributes to dropping out
," explains Aude Letty, general delegate of the Korian Foundation for aging well.
