- On Thursday afternoon, a 53-year-old woman from the Augsburg district fell due to a driving error with her mountain bike on a forest path between Breitbrunn and Ellwang.

"She wore a helmet, which prevented worse, so she got away with a shock and several abrasions," said a police spokesman in Herrsching.

The woman was first brought to the Seefeld hospital to clarify further injuries, but was able to leave the clinic again after a short time.

A cycling accident that occurred on Saturday morning in Wartaweil had a similar course.

At around 11 a.m., a 59-year-old tourist from Hanover fell on her e-bike on the bike path.

It was a driving mistake on their part to blame.

She wasn't wearing a helmet, but luckily, according to the police, she only fell on her shoulder and knees.

She was also taken to the hospital in Seefeld, but did not have to stay there.

A third bicycle accident occurred on Saturday afternoon.

Around 4 p.m., a 49-year-old man from Augsburg fell in Widdersberg while riding his racing bike.

This fall was also due to a driving mistake by the racing cyclist and happened without any outside influence.
