The Government extended until the end of the year the suspension of service cuts due to non-payment

On March 24, decree 311/2020 established the no cut for 180 days and with the resolution of the last hours this benefit was extended for three more months, by which you can have up to seven unpaid invoices from the beginning of the quarantine.

In the same way, the obligation for fixed or mobile telephony, internet and pay TV companies to maintain

a reduced service in case of non-payment

was also extended until the end of the year 

.

"In this instance and with the same purpose of mitigating the local impact of the international health emergency, it is appropriate to provide for the temporary suspension of the supply cut-off of services that are central to the development of daily life, and even more so in the current state of social, preventive and compulsory isolation ", provided that March DNU.

The norm seeks, according to the foundations of the decree that established it, “to guarantee –in the framework of this emergency– access to those services, which constitute instrumental means for the exercise of fundamental rights (such as health, education or food) ”.

The measures provided apply to the beneficiaries of: Universal Child Allowance (AUH) and Pregnancy Allowance;

non-contributory pensions that receive gross monthly income not exceeding two Minimum Living and Mobile salaries;

registered in the Social Monotax Regime;

retirees and pensioners, pensioners and pensioners, and workers in a dependency relationship who receive a gross remuneration less than or equal to two minimum wages.

Also for monotributistas registered in a category whose monthly annual income does not exceed two minimum wages;

those who receive unemployment insurance;

electrodependents, beneficiaries of Law No. 27,351;

those incorporated into the Special Social Security Scheme for Employees of Private Houses (Law No. 26,844) and exempt from the payment of ABL or local taxes of the same nature.

It also reaches non-residential users such as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MiPyMES), in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 25,300 affected in the emergency, as established by regulation;

Registered Work Cooperatives or Recovered Companies affected in the emergency, as established by regulation;

public and private health institutions and public good entities that contribute to the preparation and distribution of food in the context of the food emergency.
