With the participation of 40 national industrial companies, the activities of the family shopping festival “Goodness is more abundant,” which is being held by the Ministry of Endowments in cooperation with the Syrian Economic Group, was launched in Tekkiye Sulaymaniyah in Damascus this evening.

The festival, which aims to provide basic products to Syrian families at reduced prices, continues until September 30 and includes a wide variety of food and consumer goods, school supplies, clothing, shoes, medical materials and sterilizers.

The Minister of Endowments, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Sattar Al-Sayed, stressed in a statement to the media the importance of these festivals that are held in light of the economic blockade imposed on the Syrian people and the high prices that coincide with the opening of schools, indicating that such activities show that the Syrian people, with their values ​​and morals, can overcome all crises. .

The Minister of Endowments explained that the festival’s prices differ from the markets, "they are cost prices," as there are those who offered discounts of up to 50 percent on food and stationery.

He expressed the ministry's support for such activities and said: "We encourage these activities and we hope that everyone who is able or able can extend a helping hand to the needy. Those who have defeated terrorism within ten years of the unjust war against Syria must prevail over the economic war we are facing today."

The head of the Syrian Economic Group, Dr. Muhammad al-Jabali, indicated that more than 40 companies in the festival offer a wide variety of goods at competitive prices to break the mediation cycle between the producer and the consumer, indicating that the festival coincides with the return to school season, as it included a wide variety of supplies such as stationery and school tools at prices less than The market is about 30 percent, in addition to the participation of food and Syrian trade companies that offer food products at prices below the market by about 25 percent.

A number of the owners of the companies participating in the festival stressed the importance of holding the festival in order to introduce their products and attract new customers, as the owner of a company for the manufacture of school bags, Wael Nafis, indicated that his company provides high-quality products at competitive prices as it offers discounts of about 25 percent on school bags with a warranty for a full year. Until the first day he sensed a good turnout for the festival.

Industrialist Abdul Rahman Al-Zand of a company that manufactures medicinal and aromatic oils confirmed that his pavilion includes coconut oils, sesame, black seed, cucumber, lettuce seeds, flax, ginger, almonds, lavender, turmeric, sidr and lemon at reasonable prices.

And from a company that sells food appetizers, the commercial director Karim Qabbani said that the company offers special offers on its products that include biscuits, chocolates, cakes and others, while Maher Al-Menini, the owner of a stationery and school supplies company, explained that the goal of participation is not for profit but to break the mediation rings between the merchant and the consumer with offers of up to 30 percent. .

A number of visitors indicated that the festival at its promotional prices gives the citizen an opportunity to buy his basic needs, as Bassam Al-Lahham stated that he bought stationery and foodstuffs at prices lower than the prices of their counterparts in the markets. Grace Khadija also noted that she found the prices suitable for people with limited income, explaining that she went to the festival to market food and supplies Schoolwork.
