Karlsfeld -

A 74-year-old pedestrian was found by a passerby in the parking lot of the Rewe supermarket in Karlsfeld on Münchner Straße on Saturday at around 5.45 p.m.

She was injured and was lying on the floor, the police announced yesterday.

Presumably she was hit.

The passer-by immediately alerted the rescue workers.

They were able to determine that the pedestrian, a 74-year-old from Karlsfeld, was probably hit by a car and seriously injured.

The other party was no longer on site.

The injured was taken to a Munich clinic by ambulance.

The exact course of the accident still has to be clarified through further investigations, as the Dachau police announced.

Any witnesses who observed the accident and who can provide information about the driver are asked to contact the Dachau police station on 0 81 31/56 10.
