British Transport Minister Grant Shapes today (Monday) vehemently rejected reports that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson had visited Italy for a holiday last week.
In the denial, given in an affidavit written to the British news network "Sky", the reporter said that the minister "believes that this is a false and even false report".
A spokeswoman for the prime minister's residence also denied the allegations.
The story was revealed yesterday in the Italian newspaper "La Republique" according to which the British Prime Minister and footballer Luis Suarez landed at the airport in Perugia on September 17.
